Tilbox is a specialist in storage solutions between the wheels of trucks, cars, and trailers. Since 1994, they have been improving toolboxes and underbody storage systems for the transport industry. Everything is produced in-house in Valkenswaard, from start to finish. They serve customers across Europe, offering both standard solutions and custom-made products that meet high standards of safety, design, and functionality.
In this role, you combine hands-on work with oversight of the department. You start your day reviewing the planning and deciding where you add the most value. Materials arrive pre-sorted from the laser cutter, and you ensure everything follows the correct process and sequence.
About 80% of your time is spent operating CNC press brakes. You set up and program Safan Darley machines, work independently, and change tools when needed. You mainly work with stainless steel (80%), but also aluminum and steel. Products are mostly single pieces or small batches, up to 5 mm thick and 4000 mm long (so plenty of variety). You monitor quality throughout and ensure everything meets standards before moving on.

You’ll join a team of 4 colleagues within a department of 8 CNC operators, where English is commonly spoken. Teamwork and support are key.
